"America is no longer a democracy — never mind the democratic republic envisioned by Founding Fathers. Rather, it has taken a turn down elitist lane and become a country led by a small dominant class comprised of powerful members who exert total control over the general population — an oligarchy, said a new study jointly conducted by Princeton and Northwestern universities.
One finding in the study: The U.S. government now represents the rich and powerful, not the average citizen, United Press International reported.
In the study, “Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups and Average Citizens,” researchers compared 1,800 different U.S. policies that were put in place by politicians between 1981 and 2002 to the type of policies preferred by the average and wealthy American, or special interest groups. Researchers then concluded that U.S. policies are formed more by special interest groups than by politicians properly representing the will of the general people, including the lower-income class.
“The central point that emerges from our research is that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence,” the study found."
America is no longer a democracy? As a normal individual, a citizen, I have no voice, my vote doesn't count? WTF? I do not want special interests and big donors and elite political asshats determining my future. That is NOT the America I grew up in and loved and want to live in, the land of freedom and opportunity, with a government "of the people, by the people and for the people". Now, America is a land "of the elites, by the elites and for the elites"?
And this Princeton study was done years ago, in 2014, covering the period from 1981-2002. Since the liberal Democrats took over in 2008, it's been ten times worse, it's ten times more corrupt.
Who's to blame for this? I blame stupid voters. If you are not a rich elite American, if you are a normal American and you supported this form of governing, if you voted for this, and/or continue to vote for this, you're an idjiot. America is no longer a democracy? No, it's a dumocracy!

It's time for an American revolution. The second American revolution. A war without weapons. A war between average Americans and the ruling elites. Rather like the French Revolution of 1789. Only this time we need not use the guillotine or storm the palace, we can use the vote.
We can vote all the elite political asshats out of office and not elect new asshats.
We can start a new independent political party, one that is NOT corrupt and will represent, and be accountable to, we the people.
We can drain the swamp; the special interest donating/lobbying political elite swamp in Washington, D.C and in our state and local governments.
