how to catch gov't leakers

Dear Donald,

Leaks by government workers are a big national security problem. As I understand it, and according to FBI Director James Comey, unauthorized dissemination of secure information is a felony, punishable up to 10 years in prison.

Here's a simple solution to government leakers.

According to what I read, the U.S. government surveils EVERYBODY, everywhere. And stores the metadata. This includes data from phone calls, texts, email, social media, TV's, microwaves, vehicles, et al. Everything people use to communicate with or watch or drive is being tracked by the government. That being the case, when there is an anti-Trump/anti-government national security or illegal leak, simply have the FBI or other appropriate government security agency track down the domestic leaker. How hard could it be? The government has ALL the metadata! Start with "who had access?" Then track the communications of all those people.

Then, after you catch the leaker, throw the leaker in prison. No lawyer. No trial. Officially classify the leaker as a domestic terrorist. No lawyer. No trial. No rights. No Constitution. Terrorist. The prison in Guantanamo Bay would be an appropriate punishment for jeopardizing national security. Leave 'em there for 10 years, or for the rest of their lives.

You only need to do this once. Or twice. That would send a clear message to other wannabe leakers. Most individuals with government access, who might want to leak information that could put America at risk, will think twice about leaking it to the liberal media, or anyone else, and ending up in Guantanamo Bay.

Problem solved!
