The inconvenient truth is that, according to his leaked tax return, exclusively leaked to MSNBC, and gleefully reported by MSNBC pseudo-reporter, Rachel Maddow, President Donald Trump earned $153 million and paid $36.5 million in federal income taxes in 2005, paying an effective tax rate of roughly 25 percent.
In comparison, socialist Senator Bernie Sanders paid a 13.5% federal tax rate in 2015.
Former President Barack Obama and his wife paid 18.7% federal tax rate in 2015.
Hmm. Turns out that Donald Trump paid a higher percentage in taxes than a lot of liberals who complained he paid too little. Hypocrites. Math morons.
Donald Trump paid $36 million in federal taxes in 2005. The average tax payer in the U.S. pays less than $10,000 in federal income tax annually. Trump paid over $36 million. Using 3rd grade math, that means that one Donald Trump - one person - paid more in taxes than 3,600 normal average taxpayers. Taxwise, one Donald Trump = 3,600 regular loony liberal taxpayers. I'd say he paid MORE than his fair share!
And, to add insult to injury, MSNBC news commenter Rachel Maddow reportedly earns $7 million a year. Why? And, yes, I'd like to know what HER tax rate is! Maybe somebody will leak HER tax return; see how SHE likes it.
