During a Congressional hearing, the head of the FBI admitted that he leaked FBI information about the President of the United States to his non-FBI buddy, a Columbia law professor, who then leaked it to the press. The head of the FBI is a leaker? He leaked?
And the same FBI head admitted that his boss, the Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, interfered with the Hillary Clinton email investigation, and instructed him to downgrade the term FBI "investigation" to FBI "matter". The head of the FBI complied.
Both the FBI head and the Attorney General were Obama appointees.
And here I thought the FBI and the Justice Department were supposed to be beyond reproach. And supposed to be 100% independent. And non-political. It turns out the Democratically appointed heads of both agencies were politically corrupt. One was a leaker, the other a politically motivated head of U.S. law enforcement. The head of the FBI and the head of the Justice Department both did wrong - both violated the trust of the people of the United States of America - and proved the Swamp is a lot wider and deeper than we ever imagined.
America is supposed to be a nation of laws, that "everyone is equal under the law". That does not mean elite Democrats get a free pass when they break the law, yet, thanks to these 2 powerful appointees, heads of two of the most powerful U.S. government agencies, that is exactly what happened with Hillary Clinton.
I condemn both previous agency heads. Both the Director of the FBI (Comey) and the Attorney General (Lynch) did irreparable damage to my country and undermined its unique traditions of freedom and fairness. Now, thanks to these two, James Comey and Loretta Lynch, we, the people can no longer trust the FBI. Or the Department of Justice. That is sad, and scary. And, as a result of the scandalous wrongdoing of these two agency heads, the hundreds of thousands of hard working non-political career employees of both these agencies, the FBI and the Department of Justice, have also been discredited.
Never in my life have I seen such widespread deep and dangerous corruption. It reaches to the highest levels of government. Much of it occurred under the corrupt Obama Administration and, as it ran deep and wide (the Deep State) the political corruption seems to be carrying over to current administrations.
Washington is a swamp. A huge swamp. A deep swamp. Drain the swamp! All of it.
