An open letter to President Donald Trump
In the interests of being inclusive, as President Elect, you should appoint a transgender person to a cabinet position in your administration. This would send a message to all minorities that you, and the Republican Party, are not just a bunch of old rich white males but want an "America for all Americans". And a transgender appointment would help to politically allay the fears of blacks, Hispanics, women, Asian Americans, Gays, Lesbians, Transgenders, Bisexuals, Queers, Muslims, Jews, Native Americans, and every other minority group in America.
