"Brookline, Mass., became the 10th and latest local government Thursday to pass a resolution calling for impeachment, a step designed to add pressure on the state’s congressmen to launch a formal investigation that could ultimately lead to the president’s removal from office. The Massachusetts towns of Cambridge, Amherst, Pelham and Leverett have already made the call, and Newton has a proposal up for consideration.
California is another hotbed of impeachment. The Los Angeles city council in early May overwhelmingly passed a measure asking for impeachment proceedings to begin. Richmond, Alameda and Berkeley did the same.
The blue state cities and small towns driving the resolutions also tend to be left-leaning places that voted against Trump in the first place."
I say
These are insane cities. The purpose of ANY municipality is to foster the safety and happiness of its residents. It is NOT to play stupid left-wing liberal political games.
City governments have no time to pass ridiculous resolutions of impeachment while ignoring job creation, high taxes, unaffordable housing and other CRITICAL issues adversely affecting the health and welfare of its taxpaying citizens. How DARE extreme liberal loony municipalities pass these stupid, unfounded, purely political impeachment resolutions!
Enough! As a result of this left-wing liberal municipal government insanity, I hereby call for a boycott of any/all cities and states in America that pass stupid resolutions calling for the impeachment of the President of the United States. This includes any/all tourism, foreign and domestic. In my case, I live in Los Angeles - and I will purchase NOTHING but the basics I am forced to pay for (electricity, water, ISP etc) in the City of Los Angeles. I will purchase everything else, including food and clothing, in surrounding nearby cities such as Burbank, et al. In addition, if I am buying something online, and the seller is in one of the "impeachment cities", I will make it a point to buy elsewhere.
If anyone deserves to be impeached, it's the city council members of these loony liberal cities! In the meantime, I am boycotting their cities!
